My head spun when Jaxon and I left the bedroom. I couldn’t believe that just happened. I couldn’t believe I’d agreed to what Bennet wanted. I didn’t even know why… it wasn’t like Markus punishing Jaxon or me would be anything new; I wasn’t scared of what Markus would do, not anymore. I was still upset with him after learning the extent of what he’d done the last time Jaxon and I were together.
